Collection includes manuscripts of Ivan Argüelles' Madonna Septet and other works, 1997-2000; manuscripts and drafts for Chac Prostibulario by Argüelles and John M. Bennett, 1999; and email correspondence between Argüelles and Bennett regarding all of the material in this collection. Boxes 1 and 2 of the collection include a partly photocopied and partly electronically transferred printed out manuscript of the complete long poem Madonna Septet by Argüelles, written in 1998 and 1999; other printed out electronically transferred or emailed poetry manuscripts by Argüelles, 1997-2000; and extensive email and other correspondence between Argüelles and John M. Bennett regarding the manuscripts and related matters. Boxes 3 and 4 of the collection include the complete original holographic and printed out email drafts of Chac Prostibulario, written collaboratively by Argüelles and Bennett in 1999; drafts of the complete final manuscript; drafts and copies of 2 published selections from the work; and extensive email correspondence between Argüelles and Bennett regarding the manuscripts and related matters. The original drafts for Chac Prostibulario are arranged in reverse chronological order, with the first page at the back of folder 23, and the last page at the front of the folder 17.
